Not directly. In Texas only a licensed real estate broker can enter a listing into the MLS, so a true for-sale-by-owner listing cannot appear there on its own. A flat fee MLS service solves this: a licensed Texas broker posts the listing on your behalf for a one-time fee, and you keep control of showings, offers and negotiation.

Lone Star Flat Fee MLS posts your listing to your local Texas MLS within about 24 hours of a completed submission and payment. From there, syndication to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and Trulia usually follows within a few hours to a day, depending on each portal's refresh cycle. You get an email with your MLS number as soon as it is live.

You need the property address, basic property details (beds, baths, square footage, year built), your asking price, at least five photos, showing instructions, and a signed listing agreement plus Texas disclosure paperwork. The address lookup auto-fills county records and square footage, so most sellers finish the whole submission in about 20 minutes.

Listings start at a flat $99, paid once at checkout, with no percentage commission on the listing side and nothing owed to the brokerage at closing. A traditional Texas listing agent charges roughly 3% instead — about $9,900 on a $330,000 home.

You do, by default. Buyer agents request showings through the standard scheduling tool and contact you directly, and every buyer inquiry from Zillow, Realtor.com and the MLS is forwarded to you.
