How do I get my house on the MLS in Texas?

A licensed Texas broker has to enter it for you — the MLS does not accept listings directly from homeowners. With a flat fee MLS service you submit your property details, photos and showing instructions online, a licensed broker reviews and posts the listing to your local Texas MLS, and it goes live in about 24 hours. Lone Star Flat Fee MLS does this for a flat $99 instead of a 3% listing commission.

Which Texas MLS will my listing appear on?

Your listing goes on the MLS that covers your property's location: HAR in greater Houston, NTREIS in Dallas–Fort Worth, ACTRIS/ABOR in Austin, and SABOR in San Antonio. It is the same board a traditional local listing agent would use, so buyer agents in your market see your home exactly as they would any other listing.

Can I list on Zillow without a real estate agent?

You can post a for-sale-by-owner listing on Zillow directly, but that is not the same as being on the MLS and it will not reach buyer agents the same way. When a licensed broker puts your home on the Texas MLS, it syndicates automatically to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and Trulia as a full listing — which is the distribution that actually drives showings.

How many photos can I put on my MLS listing?

Up to 50 photos, which is the most the Texas MLS accepts on a single listing. Listings with a full photo set consistently get more clicks and showing requests than listings with only a handful, so it's worth uploading the maximum. AI staging on your photos is included with the flat fee.

Can I change my price or photos after the listing is live?

Yes. Price changes, photo swaps, description edits and status updates are handled through your portal and pushed to the MLS at no extra charge. There is no per-change fee, and updates flow out to Zillow and Realtor.com on their normal refresh cycle.
